Winter! Bah Humbug. I was nearly late for work again this morning!

I came home from work yesterday and decided to shovel the snow. The snow was frozen! It took me 30 minutes just to make my steps passable. I tossed the last of the bag of salt I had left over from last year down the path before deciding to just come inside and crawl into bed. Then this morning I wake up on time but then fall back to sleep. Then I woke up again. Now I’m late! I jump out of bed get dressed and rush to catch the streetcar. Hurray I made it! Just barely of course but I calculate I’ll get to work 10 minutes early. I can relax. Ya right! Seems the cops had a shoot out at Bay and King. The streetcars are being diverted and instead of being dropped off at my usual stop I have to walk the last four blocks in the freezing cold. So much for getting to work early. I hate Cops, and Bad guys, and the TTC, and getting up for work in the morning; And I hate snow that is really just ice masquerading as snow. Aaaaaaa!
