But those who seek to become rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many useless and harmful desires, which plunge men into destruction and damnation. For covetousness is the root of all evils, and some in their eagerness to get rich have strayed from the faith and have involved themselves in many troubles.

There are people in this world who covet money and power to such an extent that in pursuit of those goals they care little about who gets hurt along the way. The Doctor or Social Worker or Other Expert in their field may sincerly want to do what’s best for you, but what if the things they’ve been taught are wrong? What if they’re just well meaning pawns in the covetous games of the rich and powerful? When ever possible become you’re own expert or at least a well informed client. Knowledge is power.
