Scott Tips – National Health Federation & Codex Alimentarius

Scott Tips from the National Health Federation joins us on the program to discuss Codex Alimentarius and the Codex Commission. Scott has been specializing in food-and-drug law and trademark law. We get to hear directly from Scott how the process of how Codex is being implemented, the mechanics of the Commission, how their meetings are being run, how “consensus” and decisions are being made. Topics discussed: International Food Standards, Food Trade, WHO, FLA, Laws, international law, propositions, standardization, the limiting of people’s health freedom, GMO, vitamins, consequences of the implementation, the power of the European Commission.
