Women, Whales and Whoppers
By Paul Elam
Recently I went on a whale watching trip in the Strait of Juan de Fuca in Washington State. The boat was captained by a woman and the mechanic on board was also female.
About halfway into the trip the unthinkable happened. The ships engine shut down and we were dead in the water. The mechanic leapt into action but an hour later we were still not moving, with no sound from the engine room save some high pitched swearing and the occasional clang of a dropped (or thrown) tool. Several times the mechanic came topside, looking pasty white from the stress, asking lots of questions for which the captain had no answers... Read the rest Here

Ladies, can’t find any men to marry? Don’t blame the men!

Here is another great post from the Biblical Manhood blog on the reasons many women are forced to endure a state of protracted singleness.
The Delay of Marriage (Men Are Not the Problem)
Anyone following my writings and the writings of some fellow bloggers for the last few years will know what we are up against: Nobody’s getting married like they used to and everybody wants to blame the guys for it. Let me itemize, reiterate and encapsulate a few things about the so-called “delay of marriage.” But first let me say the following by way of introduction to my subject matter:

Feminism was and is the biggest con in history.

I was reading through some of the posts on MarkyMark’s blog when I came upon this little gem that he had found and re-posted to his blog via this link
OK. Time to put men out of your misery. Feminism was and is the biggest con in history. We talked endlessly about “equality” yet that was the last thing we wanted. You men have yet to realise that women never say what we mean. It is always shrouded in hyperbole and imagery.
So now, we are so close to having our cake and eating it. Here are just a few examples.
1) We can take you to the cleaners in divorce. No suggestion of equality there. We can have affairs and divorce you and we STILL get the house and maintenance for as long as we need. There is now absolutely no risk in a woman filing for divorce. You men don’t even have the right to shag us any more. More and more women are making their husbands live celebate lives in marriage. Once we have that ring on our finger we rule! I am only 27. I have been married three times. Each one I stayed with for three years and then took for every penny I could get. You see, we only have to convince a judge of “irretreivable breakdown” of the relationship. And how is that determined? Easy. When ONE party does not wish the relationship to continue. My current husband needs another year I would say. The business he has built up is not quite where I need it to be yet. When it is, he will go the same way as the others. The house is already mine “for tazx reasons”. At least thats what he thinks. I “allowed” my name to be put on the deeds, but he will find come the day that this just means the house is mine already. I tend to go for cash settlements with regard to maintenance which leaves me free to start again. Not that I need to now. By the time I have ditched this poor sap, I will have more than enough to live a very good lifestyle with for the rest of my life. Even if money starts to run short I can always do it again. It’s not as if I have to have sex much either. I pick men who are on the way up building their buisnesses. The hours they put in mean they are usually too tired and if they have affairs with their secretaries, well, that just makes it easier for me.
2) We get far less severe prison sentences for the same crimes. We can even murder our new born children and it is written off as Post Natal Depression. Women’s groups all over the world are working for the day when no woman will ever be sent to prison for any crime. ANd trust me, that day will come.
3) In the work place not only do we get paid for taking time off to have children, but now we even get pay rises while we are off, an absolute right in law to return to the job we left and in some cases now, we even get promoted while we are on leave. Employers have to invest in our training, but we are free to screw them over by taking all the training and qualifications we can get of of them and then leaving.
4) We now have senior politicians who advocate “positive descrimination” . In other words, if you are a white male, you are where you belong. At the bottom of the heap. Women are eased into top jobs and ministerial positions in Government. The Sisterhood is alive and well and working beautifully. The Labour Government, always breathtakingly stupid has actually gone as far as prohibiting the selection of male candidates in some wards. Fantastic.
And you poor men. What can one say? All you need is a little show of panty now and then and you are putty in our hands. You and you alone have allowed us to take this supremecy and you have done so without a whimper. When I joined the feminist movement, I didnt really buy into the more vitriolic mantras of “all men are pigs” and “the only good man is a doormat”, but now I see you for what you are. A means of providing what I want.
Of course not all women think this way but enough do to heed my advise which I have given on many occasions – Don’t trust any of them… Ever!

Valerie Quennessen died in a car crash in 1989 but I only learned about it when I googled her last night. Valerie Quennessen starred in a film in the early 80’s called “Summer Lovers“. The film was so so but the scenery was incredible as was Valerie.
Valerie Quennessen is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen.
I am sorry she is gone.

Vaccine Myths & Truths

Myth No. 1: Vaccines are safe
Under the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Reporting System) was established. Annually, it reports about 11,000 serious vaccine reactions, including up to 200 deaths and many more permanent disabilities.
Far more alarming is the following;
– the FDA estimates that only 1% of serious adverse reactions are reported;
– CDC says it’s 10%;
– medical school students testified before Congress that they’re told not to report these incidents;
– according to the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), only one in 40 New York doctors reported adverse vaccine reactions or deaths;
– international studies show vaccines cause up to 10,000 US SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) deaths annually, and at least half of them are from vaccines;
– another study determined that 3000 US children die annually from vaccines;
– poor reporting in America suggests that annual adverse vaccine reactions, in fact, number from 100,000 – one million;
– since 1988, the government’s National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP) paid families of affected children $1.2 billion in damages;
– as authorized by the 2006 Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act, HHS Secretary Sebelius, granted drug companies legal immunity (except for impossible to prove willful misconduct) to proliferate dangerous, untested Swine Flu vaccines globally;
– vaccines are legally mandated in all 50 US states, though legally avoidable in most (under normal circumstances) as explained below;
– in settling vaccine damage suits, drug companies impose gag orders to keep vital information from the public; and
– insurers refuse to cover adverse vaccine reactions because of the high potential liability they’d face.Truth No. 1
Vaccinations cause high numbers of severe reactions, permanent disabilities, and deaths as well as an enormous personal and public cost. Virtually none of this gets reported.
Myth No. 2: Vaccines are very effective
Medical literature documents significant numbers of vaccine failures for measles, mumps, small pox, pertussis, polio and Hib-causing bacterial meningitis and pneumonia. In 1989, Oman experienced a widespread polio outbreak six months after completing a population-wide immunization program. In Kansas (in 1986), 90% of 1300 reported pertussis cases were “adequately vaccinated,” and 72% of Chicago pertussis incidents in 1993 had been as well.
Truth No. 2
Evidence shows that vaccinations are an unreliable and dangerous way to prevent illness and disease.
Myth No. 3: Low US disease rates are attributable to vaccines
From 1850 – 1940, well before mandatory vaccination programs, the British Association for the Advancement of Science reported a 90% decrease in childhood diseases due to improved sanitation and hygiene practices. By 1945, US medical authorities noted a 95% drop in deaths from the leading childhood infectious diseases (diphtheria, pertussis, scarlet fever and measles), well before mass-immunizations began.
A recent WHO report found that third world disease and mortality rates had no direct correlation with immunization programs, but closely relate to hygiene and diet standards.

Golf and love

John and Helen met while on vacation, and John fell head over heels in love with her. But after a couple of weeks in which John took Helen out to various dance clubs, restaurants, concerts, etc. He was convinced that it was true love..And so….on the last night of his vacation, the two of them went to dinner and had a serious talk about
how the relationship would continue.
“It’s only fair to warn you, I’m a total golf nut,” John said to his new found lady friend. “I eat, sleep and breathe golf, so if that’s going to be a problem, you’d better say so now!”
Helen took a deep breath and responded: “Since we’re being honest with each other, here goes …. You need to know that I’m a hooker.”
“I see,” John replied. “That’s a problem, for sure.” He spent some time looking down at the table, deep in thought. Then he added, “You know, it’s probably because you’re not keeping your wrists straight when you tee off.”
