How I spent my Christmass Vacation

Ok, It’s official, I’m a “Blogger”. Good grief! I don’t know exactly what this is going to turn into or even if I’ll keep it up. I’ve been on vacation all week. Its been more of a working vacation really. I’ve been reading and studying and learning everything I can about Internet marketing. It’s a chalenge to keep it all strait in my head. There is so much out there to learn and so much of it is just garbage. The more I read the more I’m begining to see what’s worth pursuing and what isn’t. I really got burned with the whole plug in profit deal but thankfully I was able to get most of the money I spent refunded. That and a couple of other misadventures taught me to research the stuffing out of any “Opportunity” before signing on. Affialiate marketing seems to be the way most people start out before developing there own products to sell. I currently have over 40, 000 info products (ebooks, software, services etc..) I can market through my own domain name http://www.TheInfoMall.com . Although rather than sending people strait to the main page of the “mall” I’ll be focusing more on marketing to particular niches within the mall like “pets” or “music”, or I’ll focus on individual products. So I have lots of stuff to sell. How to sell it is where I’m focusing my attention right now. I don’t want to get burned again so I’ve been reading and researching and reading and reading and reading…. My eyes hurt. For a while I was thinking that I could use a bunch of different free methods to advertise with but the more I read the more I realized that would take up a lot of time and in the end wouldn’t produce much in the way of profits. The best and most effective methods seem to be eZine advertising and pay per click advertising. I don’t know much about the pay per click route yet. Right now I’m trying to learn as much as I can about eZine advertising. Well that’s all for now. I’ll keep you all updated as things develope.
