Planning the end of the world as we know it

The 20th century was a terrifying time to be alive. Unlike millions of others I was never sent off to fight in a war but I did grow up afraid. I don’t know if any of us talked about it that much but I am sure that many of us lay awake at night wondering when the nuclear Holocaust would come.

I grew up in Orillia. It’s about 100 miles north of Toronto. I remember wondering what would happen when the Russians dropped the bomb on Toronto, would Orillia be destroyed too? Although I didn’t know it at the time apparently every city in North America over a certain population was targeted. Orillia would have qualified.

Today my childhood fears are creeping back. The more I read and come to understand the overwhelming evil we are all faced with in the 21st century the more I wonder how we’re going to survive. If not for my faith in God the future would seem much bleaker than it already does.

Those of you who read my rantings against feminism and Islam and abortion and all the rest of the issues I comment on may not realize that these are all pieces of a much bigger and far more sinister plan. In fact the people who have fallen for all this propaganda and promote it under the mistaken belief that they are fighting for truth and equality and justice for all people are merely pawns in a much large game.
